Bonjour à tous, and welcome back to the French Made Easy podcast. This is episode number 233, numéro deux cent trente-trois.
Today, we’re back with another episode in the Listen & Repeat series! And since Halloween is coming up, we’re going to practise your French pronunciation using ten Halloween-themed sentences.
I’ll say each sentence in French, and your job is pretty simple: you listen and repeat after me. I’ll say it twice, with a pause for you to repeat each time. Then, I’ll give you the English translation.
And this listen & repeat method is great because it helps you train your ear and build muscle memory, so you can feel more confident when speaking French.
To help you follow along, of course, I’ve also put together a free cheat sheet with today’s sentences and translations. You’ll find all the links in the episode notes. It’s free!
And if you’d like to learn more Halloween vocabulary, you can also listen to episode 124.
Listen carefully to each sentence and repeat after me.
